Take That top off a remarkable year for them with this spectacular stage show, supported by the Sugababes, that is being broadcast live on ITV1.
They will be performing live from the O2 arena (which lies directly on the Meridian Line) and this New Year celebration promises to bring the ultimate party into everyone's living room as Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark perform hits from their early classics and from their mult-platinum comeback album Beautiful World.
Organisers of the event are hoping this will be the first in many New Year's Eve concerts for London. One thing is sure, with Take That performing, it's bound to be a massive success!
Huge congratulations to Take That!
The Official UK Charts on BBC Radio 1 last night placed Beautiful World at No 3 in the Top 10 albums. Rule the World is No 5 in the Top 10 singles. What a brilliant end to 2007!
We would like to say a big "thank you" to Take That for giving us the best 2007 we could possibly have hoped for! What a wonderful Tour, it's hard to believe that it went so fast! Though for Take That it probably didn't!
They even managed to break a record at the MEN for the most number of consecutive nights performed there, 11 in total - all of which were sold out! If the Arena holds 14,000 people, that would be 154,000 at just the Manchester concerts!
After a gruelling 3 months on Tour, you would think that would be it for a while, but no - they are performing tonight at the O2 Arena, as part of ITV1's Countdown to Midnight! They will then have a few days off and then back performing on 11th January 2008 at the Undiluted Spirit Event for the Outward Bound Trust.
Here's hoping they will then take a bit of a breather, before starting on the next Album, they've certainly more than earned it! It's been a fabulous couple of years - here's looking forward to the future and another possible Tour, whenever the chaps are ready!
Thank you to everyone who attended our Pre-Concert Party yesterday afternoon, and for making it such a great success!
We would also like to thank Mr Tony Orange for once again being our guest Auctioneer, Dave Nicholls for the fantastic Take That tribute performance and to Tony Blair, our wonderful DJ!
Thatters raised £1,112.00 in the Auction of signed items. Huge thanks to Take That for taking the time to sign so many things for us. Well Done everyone for raising so much towards our fundraising for the new Charity!
We would like to wish Take That, their management and Thatters worldwide a very happy Christmas and here's hoping that 2008 will bring you everything that you are wishing for! We have a few events planned, more details to follow!
Huge thaks to Take That, who have donated 2 tickets to us for their concert on Sunday, 23rd December, 2007. The tickets will be be auctioned at our Afternoon Pre-Concert party on Saturday, 22nd December 2007!
Proceeds from the Auction will go to Take That's nominated charity. We feel very honoured to have been given these very special tickets for the Auction and would like to send our huge thanks to Take That for their generosity for this and for all the wonderful items they have taken time out to sign items for all of our Tour Parties, including albums, posters, programmes and other memorabilia.
To win these tickets, you need to be the highest Bidder at the Auction. You have to be at the Auction to be able to bid, this is only fair to Thatters who have taken the time to attend the party, plus we need to hand over details to the winner in person! As they have been donated by Take That, we think that they will be good seats!
We still have places available at the parties on Saturday, 22nd and Sunday, 23rd December 2007! To buy your tickets, please click here to go to our Online Shop
We have today reached a huge milestone on the site! 2,000,000 - yes, that's 2 Million Visitors since we first started on 1st April 1996!
On behalf of the whole TTAP, we would like to thank everyone who has visited the sited over the past eleven and a half years and shown your support. Thatters are the best!
We will certainly have a lot to celebrate during our upcoming parties and dinners, we are totally amazed, especially since one and a half million has been since November 2005! We hope you enjoy the site and welcome any ideas or suggestions you may have for improvements/additions.
We would also like to thank the Forum Moderators and Events Team for the dedicated and hard work they have done this year! All are volunteers and we are really lucky to have such a great team of Thatters on board with us!
The final leg of the Tour has begun and Take That are in Manchester!
Come and join us for a bit of a "do" at our Dinners and Parties, to help celebrate a wonderful Tour and to meet up with fellow Thatters!
Take That have signed quite a lot of items for us to Auction for their nominated Charity, which will be available at all 3 of our Parties (15th, 22nd and 23rd December), including signed Beautiful World CD/DVD, Tour Posters, Tour Programmes, Take That Annuals/Books, Beautiful World Music Book, Metro Radio Masks, and more!
We also have some lovely raffle and tombola prizes to win. Tickets are now on sale in our Online Shop , click here to go to the shop.
There will be a Buck's Fizz Reception from 1.30 pm, followed by the Auction, Cabaret by Davey Nicholls, 2 course hot buffet lunch, Raffle and then take to the dancefloor with our favourite music courtesy of the Dj/Disco!
What better way to start your Take That Day by joining us for a brilliant afternoon celebrating the genius of Take That and also celebrating TTAP's new milestone of 2 million visitors since 1996! Thank you all so very much!
We also have a quick get together taking place with Sandwiches and Chips on Friday, 14th and Wednesday, 19th December 2007!

Fans from the 90s
The first competition (Fans from the 90s) is to win tickets and is aimed at fans from Take That's 1990's heyday. They have selected 25 popular images of fans taken by photographer Philip Ollerenshaw. There's a great article in Gordon Smart's Bizzare feature in The Sun Online today, together with some really nice pictures.
They talk about the Tour, missing their families, and how they can appreciate how tough it must be for armed forces away from their families.
Take That are not only wowing their audiences on Tour, but are proving to the Press and Media that they aren't just any boy/man band, they are Take That - a one off, that many may immitate but none can match!
To read the article, please click here!
Take That have kindly agreed to perform live for the Outward Bound Trust, at the "Undiluted Spirit" Event, being held at the

It's that time of year again, let's make it two in a row for Take That!
Shine is in the Top 10 Finalists for Record of the Year 2007. It seems that they are only doing this on the Internet this year, rather than on TV.
Please go along to their website to put in your vote now! Not sure how Leona has got in there, her single has only just been released, yet Rule the World hasn't been listed! Please click here and then scroll down to vote.

Take That TV has just announced the opening of the Tour Merchandise Online Shop!
You are able to buy merchandise from both the Beautiful World Tour 2007 and The Ultimate Tour 2006, ranging from mugs to tee-shirts. A chance for you to add or replace items to your two Tour Collections.
In keeping with the title of the Album and Tour, Beautiful World, Take That are doing their bit to make this a beautiful world, by using organic and ethical prducts where possible, hence the reason some items appear to be a bit pricey because they cost more to produce.
Why not check out the Shop today, there are some lovely items, particularly the silver Take That necklace. Click here, to go to the Shop.
Huge congratulations to Take That on having both the new single Rule the World and the newly released Beautiful World Special Tour Edition album CD/DVD both being in the Top 10 of the UK Charts this week!
Rule the World is currently No 2 in the Singles Chart, whilst Beautiful World Special Tour Edition went straight in at No 9 in the Album Charts!
To top this, Patience and Shine are still in the Top 100 UK Singles Charts! This is a fantastic achievement! We are sure that the re-released album, with additional tracks and, of course, the wonderful pre-tour interview, will make this another big seller for the chaps!
It's a must for every Thatter's Christmas List! You can buy the album at all major retailers, including Marks & Spencer and Woolworths! To find out how to buy online, just click on the picture above.

Big thanks to Tim, who has taken the time to write to ask us to pass on the following message to Thatters attending the concerts on the days he will be performing.
"Hi Thatters! I feel extremely lucky that the TT lads have given me a chance to sing in these huge arenas in front of such great fans. I know you'll all be gagging for the lads to come on but I promise to give it my all and get you all revved up for the evening ahead ! I can't wait. Looking forward to meeting you all......go easy on me!!

Reported in the Sun Online, that Howard was back on stage performing some of the songs with the chaps on Wednesday, 7th November at Oberhausen!
Excellent news for us all, but even more so that Howard seems to be well on the way to full recovery.
Stop Press: It was also reported that ITV have asked Take That to perform a gig at the O2 Arena on New Year's Eve, to be broadcast live on ITV1! About time there was something decent on the telly on New Year's Eve! :Stop Press
There's a lovely concert report about Oberhausen on 7th November and Howard's return, written by Jose on our Discussion Boards, please click here to read it.
It has been announced on Take That TV, that five emerging artists from the British music scene have been chosen to be special guests at certain concerts on Take That's Beautiful World Tour in the UK. The main support act for the UK leg of the Tour is Sophie Ellis-Bextor.
The five acts chose are Karen Bishko, Laura Fowles, Brown Music, Tim Daniel and Jay Scott. We've only managed to find pictures of four of the acts. You can check out their web and My Space pages by clicking on their names. It's great to see Take That giving new talent a chance to experience performing in front of sold-out Aren. For further details, please click here.
A great big thank you to everyone who came along to our Thattereen Party on Saturday, 3rd November at the Renaissance Hotel Manchester (65 Thatters in all)! We had a blast and raised quite a lot for charity at the same time! The Auction total came to £2,000! Thank you all so very much! It was great to put faces to names at last!
Big thanks also to the TTAP Team who helped set up during the day:-
Alf, Helen, Rach, Vicky, Laura, Natalya, Ursula, Lynne, Joan, Simone and Aaron - you are stars! The room looked amazing! Thanks also to little Millie aged 3 months, who is the youngest Thatter to assist at an event. She kept us all cooing and broody all afternoon. Just setting up built up the excitement. Another big thanks to M&S who sent us some Autograph posters!
Thanks also to the wonderful staff at the Renaissance, Joanne and her team, everything ran very smoothly. The food was fantastic, the layout perfect and all staff on duty were very helpful and friendly. The Buck's Fizz Reception area was really beautifully laid out. I think from the tone of this Report, you can see we were all delighted with everything and all who attended had a great time.
Huge thanks also to Tony Blair (not that one) our DJ extraordinaire for the evening and to Mr Davey Nicholls, our wonderful cabaret act, who performed a number of Take That songs, and did them proud!
Davey donated his time despite suffering a nasty chest infection. Davey you were amazing and a fantastic performer, everyone was really impressed and can't wait to hear you again at our next events! Get well soon Davey! You are a star that shines very bright in our eyes!
Biggest thanks (apart from those to everyone who attended), go to Mr Tony Orange, our guest Auctioneer! Tony, you were wonderful! He went around the room chatting to people and making sure they were having a good time.
Tony was very generous with his time and happily posed for pictures with everyone who asked. His wonderful lady, Pat, was extremely patient with him disappearing and spending time with Thatters, telling some wonderful Jason anecdotes! Pat, it was lovely to meet you.
Tony then acted as our Auctineer, really rousing the room with fantastic bidding for items, the final total raised at the Auction was £2,000, as stated above - thank you all so very very much, but thank you Tony for making the Auction even more special with the additional Lots you donated.

It was a very special night, it was really good to see everyone having such a good time!
Thatters came from far and wide, including Rosemary and Kathleen from Belfast! Some even came along on their own, to their first Thatter event, but soon made new friends and put faces to those they knew from the TTAP Discussion Boards!
Can't wait to see you all again at our Tour events, Thatters most definitely know how to party and also Rule the World! You truly Shine! Nobody Else in this world can party like Thatters and that's for Sure! To see more pictures from the event, please visit our Gallery - click here!
Many thanks also to Tim from Event Travel for donating the pair of Take That Tickets and accommodation for 21st December (which went for £250 in the Auction); to Katherine from The XtraMile Embroidery and Jean from Pink Butterfly Jewellery, who donated 10% of their takings on the night to the Charity. Huge thank you particularly to Katherine, who then Auctioned off what was left on her stall and donated all proceeds to the Charity!
Congratulations Take That - RTW straight in at No 2!
Source: Radio 1 UK Charts and Report by Jan Berrington
Huge congratulations to Take That going straight into the charts at No 2 - though to us Thatters it is most definitely No 1!
Many of us were concerned last week when we couldn't find copies of Rule the World on the shelves of the major retailers, HMV and Virgin. At first we all thought it was because Take That were selling out as quickly as they were being put on the shelves, because there were loads of Leona and McFly CDs available still.
It just seems odd that Rule the World appeared to be sold out and yet Leona reached No 1? Where were the CDs? Why were the shelves empty of Rule the World? More importantly, why were staff at HMV actively promoting Leona at the tills? This is not sour grapes on the part of Thatters, if McFly had gone in at No 1 we would have understood it because they have a huge young fan base. Something appears very wrong in this. Some of us even had to resort to going to Woolies for CDs, because they appeared to be the only shop that had any from Tuesday onwards!
However, we don't want to detract from this fantastic achievement by Take That yet again! Take That Rule our World - You are and always will be No 1!
Howard's on the Mend - Statement from Take That!
Source: Polydor Press Office
We've just received the following update from the Polydor Press Office.
"Everyone I'm sure will be pleased to hear that Howard is making a speedy recovery and the doctors are very happy with his progress. He will as a result be rejoining his band mates in .Hamburg. on Wednesday .this week when the tour arrives there.
Although it is still not clear when he will be back on stage performing with the other guys, the early indications are that it will be very soon.
Howard was discharged from Hospital in Vienna on Saturday afternoon and is currently resting with his family. Mark, Gary and Jason all visited Howard after the show in .Vienna. on Friday night along with the dancers and musicians to help cheer him up. They're all looking forward to him joining them this week in Germany."
This is excellent news! On behalf of everyone here at TTAP, we wish you a continued speedy recovery Howard! Good to know you are now back with your family recovering! Best wishes and thanks to Gary, Jason and Mark for keeping it all going!

Howard in Hospital - Get Well Soon Howard!
Source: Take That TV
It has been announced on TTTV, in a Statement from Take That, that Howard is in hospital after suffering an injury during one of the recent concerts.
At the request of Howard; Gary, Jason and Mark performed the concert in Zurich tonight, as planned. This must have been very difficult for the chaps, because they are very much a tight unit these days. It is to their credit and total dedication to their fans that they have done the concert this evening without Howard. Nothing has been said about when Howard will return to the Tour, but the main priority is that he gets well soon and has a good recovery! He has been pulling out all stops to give the performance of his life for fans every night, as have they all.
To read the Statement from Take That, please click here.
On behalf of everyone here at TTAP, we would like to wish Howard a very speedy recovery! Get Well Soon Howard! To Gary, Jason and Mark, thank you so much for carrying on and we hope it won't be too long before you are all back together again. Just so long as Howard is ok, that's all that matters!

Press/Media & Jonathan Ross: Get over it, we have!
Source: Thatters Worldwide on TTAP Message Boards
Not too sure what interview The Sun saw on Friday night, but it can't have been the one the rest of us saw!
It's a scandal how the British Press can make a story out of nothing and then put a twist on it that didn't even happen! Take That did not make a plea for Robbie to return!
What actually happened was that, because it seemed that Jonathan Ross couldn't think of any interesting questions to ask, he appeared to repeat the same questions he asked prior to the Tour in 2006, including "will Robbie be joining you on Tour", which 18 months' on, a sell-out tour behind them, a multi-platinum album and 2 No 1 singles that did not include Robbie, would seem a totally pointless question to ask!
Take That were visibly annoyed at being asked the question, but consumate professionals that they are, they were polite and didn't answer the question directly but when pushed by Ross asking "would the door always be open for him to return", Gary said yes, "the door would always be open". Hardly a plea for Robbie to return!
The message from us Thatters is:
"Robbie Williams is no longer part of Take That! He left in 1995 and Take That split as a 4 piece in 1996. They reunited as a 4 piece and the offer for him to join them on Tour came in 2006 and he did not join them. Take That are now a 4 piece group and Robbie Williams is a solo artist! We have got over and accepted it, why can't you?"
Here are just some of the comments from the Message Board:-
"I don't think they were watching the same interview as the rest of us!"
"I agree, where do they get their info from wish they would just drop it!!!!!!!! Or someone tell the media once and for that this topic is CLOSED! Why do they keep bringing it up haven't they got anything else to do?"
"why do the press exist in a completely different world to the rest of us? The boys making a plea to Robbie to come back-I certainly didnt hear that. Perhaps the papers write what they think we want to hear-only we are more than able to make up our own minds"
"I'm getting so bored of this - same old dribble . It just makes me furious, Rob is working on getting himself better and the boys are doing an amazing job without him as they did all those years ago. I just wish they'd drop it."
"I cant believe people are still putting this in the press! Robbie will never get back with TT and to me TT are a four piece.
Like you say they were not watching the same interview as us real fans!
"
"I totally agree with all of you and I think Robbie is quite happy at the moment how his life is going so why should he come back?"
"Not this again! I knew as soon as I heard Jonathan Ross ask that question the media would jump on the bandwagon again. You could actually see the Boys are getting really fed up of being asked it. They have been incredibly successful without Robbie having three No.1's and definitely another one with Rule the World. They are going down two completely different career paths. I wouldn't actually mind Robbie singing with them again but I can live without it!"
The message seems loud and clear to us:
Press/Media and Jonathan Ross, MOVE ON, GET OVER IT - WE HAVE!

Manager of VUE Cinemas, Mark De Quervain, said: "The Beautiful World tour sold out in a matter of hours, leaving many fans disappointed, so the guys were delighted to be able to give them this opportunity to see the show. With the help of Vue's technology we hope to deliver the fans an unforgettable, live experience in their local theatres."
Tickets can be purchased at www.myvue.com
This is wonderful news for those Thatters who have not been able to get tickets to the actual concerts, because they will still be able to see their chaps live and have a unique cinema experience, another first for Take That, though this has been done by other artists in the past, most notably David Bowie.
