Take That Make Chart History!

First band/artist EVER to top all five artist charts
Following their successful 'double top' last week Take That now look
towards the end of an amazing year by being the first band/artist ever
to top official single and album, download single and album and DVD
charts in the same week.
'Take That have re-written the record books this weekend by being the
first band ever to top all five charts, this is an incredible feat from
a band who have had an incredible comeback' says Omar Maskatiya Chart, Director at The Official Charts company.
The Band's final chart positions look like this:
#1 in the official singles chart 'Patience'
#1 in the official albums chart 'Beautiful World'
#1 in the singles download chart 'Patience'
#1 in the albums download chart 'Beautiful World'
#1 in the DVD chart 'The Ultimate Tour - Live In Manchester'
Take That's new single 'Patience' is also currently #1 in the national
radio airplay and independent local radio airplay chart also.
The band recently celebrated their first ever 'double top' (simultaneous
#1 single and #1 album) with new single 'Patience' and album 'Beautiful
World' on Sunday. Figures today show that their new album sold more this
week than it did last week.
The band also performed on 'An Audience With...' on Saturday, 2nd December, and drew in
a record number of 16-34 year old women - the highest figures recorded
for that programme in the last two years.
Huge Congratulations yet again to Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark!
For the third week running Patience is No 1, one more week and it will equal the 4 weeks' achieved by Pray and Back for Good! For the second week, Patience is also at No 1 in the Downloads!
To complete this wonderful triple, Beautiful World is No 1 album for the second week! A truly wonderful achievement! Congratulations to everyone involved!

You Do Movies is the home of Record of the Year 2006. - FROM PARIS TO BERLIN - INFERNAL
- HIPS DON'T LIE - SHAKIRA FT WYCLEF JEAN

Both Beautiful World and Patience are still riding high in the mid-week charts! Congratulations to Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark!
We have just been sent the following quotes from the guys by Polydor Press Office, as already reported in much of the media, following the announcement that Take That had achieved a No 1 single and No 1 Album in the charts, in the same week, the first time they had done this in their career!
lf they had only realised that they had actually achieved a triple whammy, because the download of Patience was also No 1 this week!
Howard - 'Can't believe how good this year's been and the single and
album at number 1 is like a dream come true.
We're well made up. We were hoping people would like the album but
never dreamed we'd have 2 number ones the same week!'
Mark - 'It's like winning the Premiership and the Champions League in
the same year because it's been 11 years and the first we've all
written together it makes it extra special'
Gary - 'It's just amazing. I never dreamt this could happen. If you'd
have told me this 14 months ago we'd have a number 1 album and single in the
same week, our first ever, I'd have never of believed you. It's like a
fairy tale. Totally brilliant'.
Jason - 'It's the strangest thing in the world 11 years on to have this
happen. It really feels like we've acheived something and for me it's a
testament to good friendship and hardwork we've all put in. It feels
really special and we're all really made up.'
In association with Play.com, we have a fantastic gift to giveaway.

Marks says "Thank You" for the Baby Book!
Source: Natalie Ursula Bassling
Natalie was finally able to hand over the TTAP Baby Message Book to Mark at the signing in Manchester yesterday! The Book contained messages from users of the TTAP Discussion Board which were posted when Elwood was born back in August.
Mark was delighted with the book and Natalie asked if she could take a picture. He asked "is it for the site?" She said "yes". He then posed for a picture!
Mark asked Natalie to pass on his thanks to everyone who had sent a message. He then went over to Gary to show him the book. Natalie reports that he was really pleased.
Thank you Natalie for putting it all together for us all! It took a lot of hard work on your part and we are all really grateful - especially Mark by the look of it!
Take That are Back for Good!
Source: Elisa Rocho, Daily Express - 28th November 2006
IT was just like the good old days for boy band Take That.
Thousands of screaming fans mobbed them yesterday as they celebrated a new No 1 hit with their comeback single Patience.
Like the name of one of their greatest songs, they looked Back For Good. Girls queued for hours in London to meet their idols, Jason Orange, 35, Mark Owen, 34, Gary Barlow, 35 and Howard Donald, 36.
The group, which disbanded in February 1996, announced last Christmas they were going back on the road. The reunion was reported to be worth £1.5million to each member.
The only star absent from their tour was former band member Robbie Williams, 32. He has successfully carved out his own multi-million pound record deal as a solo artist.
But his album, Rudebox, is only running at No 20 in the charts - way behind Take That.
Over the last year Take That have enjoyed a sell-out tour, with rave reviews from music critics.
Yesterday the boys appeared at an album signing at HMV in Oxford Street and told the massive crowd they were surprised by the warmth of their reception.
The four blew kisses at swooning girls as they signed copies of their new album, Beautiful World, which went on sale yesterday.
Housewife Caryn Webb, 43, from Croydon, Surrey, was one of the first in the queue. "We have waited 10 years for this, " she said. "Once a Take That fan, always a Take That fan."
She had celebrated the band's No 1 last night with a glass of champagne. "We have waited 10 years for this, " she added.
Essex sisters Lisa Vale, 26, from Dagenham, and Yasmin Johnson, 18, from Hornchurch, agreed. They waited from dawn on Sunday to see their idols, but insisted it was worth standing in the rain. "You don't think about the cold when you know what you're going to get at the end of it, " said Lisa. "It's been freezing but I think the adrenalin kept me going."
The pair were rewarded for their perseverance when they were given bouquets of flowers by the band. "It was absolutely amazing, " said Yasmin.
Other fans were just as overwhelmed, with many coming away from their encounter laughing or in tears. "I'd do it again in a heartbeat, " said Londoner Rachel Grant, 24. She added: "I took three days off school when the band broke up. I was devastated." Rachel had come prepared with a sleeping bag, a chair, food and thermal socks.
Take That delight Fans at Album Signings

Thatters turned out in force in Londond and Manchester to have their copies of the new album "Beautiful World" signed by Take That.
Many had queued from early afternoon the previous day to make sure that they were in the lucky 250 to received wristbands.
It was well worth the wait! Those of us waiting in Manchester were receiving phone calls from Thatters in London, who had come out from the signing, reporting that although it was over in a blink, it was fantastic and the guys were on top form.
In Manchester, they arrived at around 6.00 pm to huge cheers from everyone! They got out of their cars and walked down the road to the store entrance, with Thatters on both side of the road behind barriers. Howard stood in the road and posed for pics - a sort of "come on" pose - hard to describe, but if anyone has a picture, we would love it for the Gallery please!
We were all let inside at 6.30 pm. Huge thanks to All Stars Securtiy Ltd, particularly Preston and Gordy for being so friendly and cheerful, certainly made the waiting easier! Once inside, we were led downstairs to a basement room, where there was a stage with a table and 4 chairs. We were to go up the stairs, go along and get our album signed and then down the other stairs. All orderly, but very quick!
We waited 30 minutes and then in walked Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark! They had been upstairs having a curry and were a bit delayed in coming down because of media interviews. We didn't care, they were there and in front of us! The noise was deafening! It soon calmed down as everyone wound their way through the queue and on to the stage.
They all looked very happy and took time to say hello to each person and some got kisses and hugs. James (Take That's own security guard) was on hand to make sure everyone moved on quickly. Gary signed first, followed by Howard, then Mark and finally Jason. They were kind enough to sign an extra copy for me, which I explained was for our Auction for the Five Stars Scanner Appeal (to be auctioned in the New Year).
Jason very kindly donated the Platimun Disc he received for "Could It Be Magic", which all 4 signed and this will be in our end of year Auction in November 2007!
All to soon it was over! What a wonderful day!
Pictures will be up shortly in the Gallery.
Thatters Camp Out !
Source: Jan BerringtonWhat a great time Thatters had yesterday in London and Manchester, waiting for Take That to turn up and sign copies of "Beautiful World", their first album for 10 years!
Thatters camped out overnight on Sunday, 27th November, at HMV stores in Oxford Street, London and Market Street Manchester, to make sure that they were in the 250 to receive wristbands. The queues were actually capped off in the early hours of Monday morning, ahead of the 8.00 am time for handing the bands out.
In London, Thatters were surprised by a visit from "Gray", who played the Assistant Manager on the Ultimate Tour. He spent half an hour going up and down the queue chatting to fans. He had been passing by when he saw the queue and asked what they were waiting for!
Manchester Thatters had a bit of a party when the wonderful guys on security Preston and Gordy (aka Shrek), brought their 4x4 into the side street and put on the Tour Live CD and CDs Thatters had brought along! A good time was had by all! Pictures will be up shortly in the Gallery.

ITV Want your TT Pictures and Videos 2006!
Source: Andy Cadman, Endemol UKWe have received the following request from Andy Cadman of Endeomol UK.
ITV are making a big end of the year news review show for ITV 1 to be presented by newsreader Katie Derham and WE NEED YOUR HELP!
The programme (called I Was There: The People's Review 2006) will look at the events that made the news in 2006 but from an exciting new perspective. Instead of using news clips we will be using footage from eye witnesses on the scene - people who were there when the news was happening and caught it on film.
So, here's where you come in! We want pictures and footage of TAKE THAT in 2006. It's their big comeback year and we don't want to miss out on this big event!
We will pay for any footage that we use in the final programme so please get in touch if you have any pics or videos from the Take That tour or from other Take That events - eg Gary Barlow's book signing.

"COULD it be magic? Take That's eagerly awaited new single will be played for the first time tomorrow. The brilliant new song Patience will be aired at 8.15am across (Tuesday, 10th October 2006) all radio stations.
It's the first track Gary, Mark, Jason and Howard - who had eight No 1s at the height of their fame - have recorded since their reunion. Music industry figures are raving about it and claiming it's well worth the wait. And we agree. With it's catchy chorus and epic sound, it's great to have the boys Back For Good."
