TTAP celebrates its 14th Birthday today! A huge thank you to everyone who has supported us over the past 14 years! Who ever thought back in those days, that we would be celebrating the return of Take That and for them to be even better than before!

Thank you to Julia Wharton who started TTAP on 1st April 1996, without you TTAP would not be here at all! Thank you to Take That for coming back to us, and for the old days too. What a return you have made, well worth keeping that dream alive for all those years!

Congratulations to Take That, who have won Best Album Award for The Greatest Day - The Circus Live at The Pride of Manchester Awards 2009-2010!

In addition, Gary came second in the award for Mancunian of the Year (even though he's from Frodsham!), congratulations Gary! The worthy winner was Carl Tilson, for his amazing work in raising awareness of DMD (Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy). Click here for details!

Congratulations to Take That, who won two Awards at The Virgin Media Awards!

The group took their place amongst other massive pop A-listers, and took home the coveted award for Best Group, not only that . . . Mark was named Hottest Male!

After dropping a place to No 2 in the DVD Music Charts last week (after 8 weeks at No 1), The Circus Live DVD is back in its rightful place . . . No 1!

Congratulations again to Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark! After 10 weeks in the charts, it is brilliant to see Take That are "Best Live Performance 2009" in the hearts and minds of Thatters and music lovers worldwide!

Reported on Take That Official website, that Take That have joined a whole host of other artists to record a special charity single in aid of the Haiti disaster.

All proceeds will be donated to the ‘DEC’ (Disasters Emergency Committee)

Disasters Emergency Committee Chief Executive Brendan Gormley said: ‘We are absolutely delighted to help those recording, producing and buying this charity single make a difference in Haiti. More and more water, food, household items and medical supplies are getting through to the earthquake survivors. Buying the charity single will greatly aid our work and help us work with survivors in Haiti to rebuild new lives from the ruins.’

The single will be available online from Sunday, 7th February and in the shops on Monday, 8th February 2010.

On Saturday 23rd January, ITV1 will broadcast ‘*The BRITs Hits 30*’

Tune in at 22:00 hrs (10.00 pm UK time)! Spice Girl ‘Mel B’ will be hosting the show and features 15 of the most memorable performances from the biggest event in the UK music calendar, as well as exclusive interviews with Robbie Williams, Kylie Minogue, Girls Aloud, Take That, Sharon Osbourne, Cat Deeley and Davina McCall.

There have been hundreds of BRITs performances within the past 30 years, all of which were considered for the "BRITs Hits 30" show. Unfortunately not all performances will make it to the public vote, which means there is the danger of overlooking some of the more memorable BRITs moments. In order to counter this 'potential disaster' BRITs.co.uk have been working with our members to bring you some of our favorite performances over the past 30 Years. To get the ball rolling they have uploaded 2 classics for you on the following links:-:

Yet again, and for the 7th week running, Take That are still No 1 with Take That Present The Circus Live Music DVD!

Not only that, but here has been movement in the Album Charts - with both albums now in the Top 40! The Greatest Day has gone down 16 to No 33, but the original Circus album, has climbed up 3 places to No 27!

This is truly a very proud time to be a Thatter, well done to Gary, Howard, Jason and Mark, to not only come back to us all but to be even bigger and better than the first time around!

We are just amazed that The Brits have seen fit not to have Best Live Performance Award this year, because it was surely plain for all to see who the winners would be! Can't understand the reasoning, to replace an Award that is voted for by the public for what surely is the essence of British music, performing live, with one for best performance at The Brits over the years? Surely there was room for both?

A Petition has been set up by Laura Bolger, to ask the organisers of The Brits to reconsider. If you feel this Award should be reinstated, please sign the Petition. You can add your name by clicking here!

Wonderful news is that for the 6th week running, and in the first official charts of 2010, Take That are still No 1 with Take That Present The Circus Live Music DVD!
