I watch Lost and I am also a bit confused.......Are they dead or not???

My boss and I thought earlier on that they may all be dead and the island is like their heaven or not as the case may be for some of them!! I am going to watch from the beginning again when this series ends to try and figure things out. Especially as that woman said the plane was found and all the passengers were dead.

We are as confused as I think everyone is!!! :wall:

Hi, I know the writers have signed up for at least 6 series. I just hope they don't just drag it out just cause of their contract. Although it could take another 3 years to get an ending to all the different story lines! I watch an episode and think 'oh yeah, I get it' only to be reminded of something that happended previously, and it just gives me a headache!! Still love it though!!

I love lost so much!!

The only thing i find is that at the end of an episode i seem to always scream out at the tv saying "noooo, dont finish there, whats gonna happen them" etc etc!! I just cant wait for the next episode!! I only pray that the very end of the whole programme isnt a let down!! Imagine that!! Watching a programme for years to find out its a rubbish ending!!

I watched it, and realised I'd actually missed an episode, the one where Locke gets shot, it's on my computer, so shall have to watch that. It was good, a little bit predictable, kept saying to my bf, "knew that was going to happen", but when Hurley got the camper van, I had to admit, I didn't know that was going to happen, so funny, and nice that he could be the hero for once!! Really can't see how they are going to carry it on for 3 more series though?!!

Yes that bit with the camper was sooooo funny..I felt sorry for Hurley when Sawyer said that he'd get in the way and was really pleased when he saved them all!! :yes:

Anyone have any thoughts on Jacks visions..is he actually imagining the future??

I don't think it's fair that we have to wait until 2008 for the next season!!! :wall:

Aw i know poor hurley!
everyone is being mean to him but its only because everyone is trying to protect him. sawyer thought he was on a suicide mission and didnt want anyone going along that he cared about that could die as well.

i really hope the "future" thingy was only a possible future. like desmond's charlie ones.

i also hope there wasnt a major character in that coffin! dont want anyone sle killed off yet!!

Yeah i think the coffin/kate reaction makes it hard to tell.
cos the newspaper jack had was apparently dated 2007 (i spend far too much time on the lost forums!! haha!!) so that means its been a couple of years since the last time we have seen them on the island as they've only been there 90-ish days. a lot could have happened between people in that time so it could be anyone i guess. although im hoping for ben or someone we havent met yet.

hmmmm not sure how i feel about the whole jack "i love u" bit.
either she should say it back and stop using poor sawyer or decide she wants to be with sawyer. in either case i think she needs to stand by sawyer for a while to help him get through his emotional problems after the brig. otherwise sawyer may well find himself beyond help.

im also gonna start watching the whole show again!! have been re watching some lately and theres loads of things i'd forgotten about! which is actually annoying as old unanswered questions are back in my head!! haha!!

Actually as I have a new place to discuss Lost (yipppeee!!) here's a little theory I like to tell people for fun ;) The coffin? It was Vincent! Hence it being so small and Kate looking at Jack like he was nuts when he said that he thought she'd be there. :D

I watched all of S1 last weekend, and half of S2 - finally invested in the box sets for £35 from HMV - with bonus features, etc. When I get box set of S3 in December I can do it all again - after the tour!!

Its due to start in feb next year again. they've only just started filming the 4th series in august. (naughty me has already been reading spoilers!)

the season 3 dvd collection is out next month though so i'll be getting that asap to help get me through til feb with all the bonus features!!

and hey at least the TT shows will speed time up til then!!

for any lost fans out there, i think it has now been affected by the american writers guild strike along with a lot of other american tv shows.
they only have 8 of the 16 episodes of season 4 written and filmed and now they have none left to film due to none being written!!
they are either going to postpone season 4 til 2009 or show the 8 they have and show the remaining season 4 episodes with season 5 in 2009. either way its gonna be a long wait! argh!!!!

Just watched a few of the trailers, most seem to go over what we saw last season but at the end of one of them it does say that Lost returns on 7th Feb (in U.S), so unless sky one do what they did with Prison Break where we was only a week behind U.S (which is why its off for 2 months booo!) we may be in for a wait.

I think some of the ones u watched tinkerbell are fan made trailers. Theres only one new official one thats been shown at cinemas in th US. They havent announced the official start date yet.
The good one is the one with very short clips of new footage, eg, jack with a gun, locke saying whoever they came for it wasnt us, sawyer holding gun to beds head, a flash of charlie and a random cow etc.

Well hopefully things can only get better now regarding the strike.
At first the general public prob didnt take much notice as their shows were still on. Now things are getting cut short and disappearing people will start complaining, thus forcing the networks to hopefully take action. Theres only so much big brother and other reality shows we can watch!! pay the writers and bring back the good shows!!!!

Anyone here heard of mobisodes? They are short mini episodes of a programme which is previously unseen footage.
Most of the lost ones so far have been rubbish and pointless but the final one is just AMAZING!!!

Jack and Kate? We saw them in flashes of the future through Jack!! I still want to know who Kate was with obviously it's someone from the island, but who? Sawyer? Ummm, Not too sure about that one.

I guess we'll just have to wait and see but with every episode it gets more and more confusing instead of things becoming clearer. I know there's a few seasons/series to go yet.

Anyway loving it!!! Good to have it back for however long it's here for!!

The 815 six i assumed to be the only 6 who got off the island. Whether that meant that the others were dead or the 6 had escaped or even that the others chose to stay i dont know.

I think that Kate is with Sawyer too. I still have a feeling she is going to find out she is pregnant. Espescially after the flash backs in the last series to her having to have an abortion just after she had her wicked way with Sawyer (grrrr - that so should have been me ;) )

I camped out at my Aunt's for the night to watch it. I don't have sky so was always nipping over to catch up on the programme. Luckily she loved lost too.
