Hi Ann,

I remember Bread and always say when I've curled my hair I looked like Freddie Boswell... His hair was mad!

Lilo Lill - she is a tart!!!! Ha ha!

I loved it!!

"Greetings" Ann :) I used to love Bread, well up until the got the new Joey! He wasn't the same with the new actor :( Peter whatsitsname, who is now a Director, was brilliant, he just seemed to be Joey:)

I loved the original Avaline too (I'm a model), the replacement was never as good I don't think:(

Jan,

I totally agree, it went downhill when they got the new Joey...

oh boy did I love that show.... Wish they would repeat it on the BBC, I used to love Joey 'greetings' was indeed his catchphrase. He was very nice... was a bit miffed when they changed him, Peter Howitt is fab... My fav episode was the christmas special in Rome... :party0002:

Oh god I loved that show, I watched the repeats on UKTV Drama a few months ago and actually got quite nostalgic about it.

Thought it went downhill when the original Joey left (the replacement Aveline was excellent but I felt he was never as good as Peter Howitt).

I even had the Bread theme tune on vinyl record!

You can buy them on Amazon in boxsets, they're currently on my wishlist!

:medium-smiley-039: I'm soooo happy cos I thought I was the only one that loves it!! I love the way Joey says "Greetings" :laughing-smiley-001 and the way Adrian says "Hanging By A Thread"!! :laughing-smiley-001 I have my nails painted red and they look alot like Avelines!! I completely agree that the BBC should bring it back!! I have series 1-4 on DVD but I hope they release series 5,6 and 7 on DVD too!! Thanks to everyone for posting comments!! :sign0092:xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

I loved Bread, Peter Howitt was my first ever autograph. My dad worked for Mercedes Benz and Peter brought his car in to be valeted and my dad got the job. Dad said he was really nice and he told him I loved bread and that it was my birthday so he signed a birthday card for me, which was really nice of him.
