I am also feeling your love for Betty! We need more nice, funny shows on TV.
:yes: Definitely! It is really funny, it also made me cry twice in the 1st episode and my eyes watered again last night. I think she really touches the old heart strings, and we all have moments when we can relate to how Betty feels.

I haven't watched a full episode yet but when i've seen bits i've been going "There's so and so from such and such" because so many well known faces keep popping up! lol (seeing Jim Robinson from Neighbours felt odd cos i've only ever seen him in Neighbours and that was years ago now!) lol

I really liked Ugly Betty too. :) It was so nice to see a TV show where a woman was valued for being bright and kind rather than just because she's stupid (e.g. Jessica Simpson in Newleywebs) or cruel and vacuous (e.g. Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie in the Simple Life). Obviously Ugly Betty isn't reality TV but I still think she is a good role model and interesting to watch. Go Betty!

:D It's shown on E4, at 9, on a Wednesday night. It is actually the first showing, and Friday night's is the repeat. Hope you can tune in it's BRILL!!:D

do you think daniel and betty will end up together? i think they will.
:p Aw the romantic in me would really like that to happen, I hope so!
Can't wait for the next episode - I think I'll be tuning in to E4 tomorrow:D

I have been watching this and although I like it I haven't got into properly yet I am hoping a few more episodes and I will be hooked...recognise is it Daniel her boss?? Can't think where I know his face from though any ideas??:confused:

I love it! I'm a bit naughty and have seen all the episodes screened in the states, it just gets better and better!
Daniel is so hot! He was in a few episodes of The OC (beginning of series 3) and some films - I did some research on him last night on IMDB!
I haven't watched it yet.. i think i'll have to download it if poss from somewhere... sounds really good!
Desperate housewives however... can't miss that for anything!
I so wanted to watch this, but I'm useless at making time for the TV :sad2: (probably a good thing :nice: ) - the only thing I manage to watch consistently is Shameless. Although I am gonna try and watch Skins tomorrow (B4 Shine's premiere at 11:05pm... YAYYYYYYYYYYYYYY :party0010: )!!! xx

I keep spotting the Chrysaler (sp?) building it is like the one in the Shine video. Can see it in the outside shots and out of Wilhemena's window. Nice TT connection if it is the same!

:oops Confession, Jems, I had read your post, so it was you that put me on to the fact that it looked like the Chrysler building in the video, and that's why I get jumping up and down when I watched Ugly Betty and kept spotting it. So thanks for the tip off!:D

It was very cleverly done wasn't it? Thought I always thought there was something a bit dodgy about her but I didn't expect that!! Betty will feel more at home back at Mode and boy does Daniel need her!!!
