I know it ended a long time ago, but did anyone here watch this show? I wasn't to keen on it originally, but they're showing re-runs now and I love it! :)

i used to watch it when it was on channel 4 on t4 sunday, withthe lovely dermot o'leary :-* i used 2 follow it alot but i was in a sat job when it was around and i started working on a sunday. i taped it but didnt always watch it so i got behind and stopped watching it. but i did see a few episodes near the end of the very last series and lets just say i was rite in who she would end up with. sorry ive been blubbering on.
YES I DID USED 2 WATCH IT. LOL

I always thought Joey would end up with Dawson, it kinda surprised me she chose Pacey. OMG, when Jen died I was almost in tears, that was a twist I didn't see coming! :-[
PS. Dermot O'Leary is lovely isn't he?? ;)
Ooooh yes I remember Dawson's Creek, absolutely LOVED it :D

I was such enormous fan! I missed alot of episodes because of assessments and exams tho! Wish they would replay it here!

It's in syndication here so they just run and run it. When it gets to the end, they start it again! Only prob is that it's on early morning...

When I first saw this topic I couldn't type and was so mad I couldn't respond as I was/am a HUGE Dawson's Creek fan :) Then I saw this and just had to laugh because I always felt the same way...Pacey always reminded me of Robbie. I remember in one episode in the 4th season they played one of Robbie's songs from Sing When You're Winning and I was all giddy :) I've actually got Seasons 1-4 on DVD and I was so angry because starting with Season 2 they began changing the songs because they didn't want to pay for the rights to the songs that they used...and I always thought that the songs made up a huge part of the show. But, I'll probably still get Seasons 5 and 6...and I have the finale on DVD and it makes me cry every time I watch it. I lose it when Pacey tells Jen that her daughter will never be alone :(

I'm not sure...for some reason I thought it was "If It's Hurting You" but I could be wrong. Do you watch the re-runs on TBS? Because they still play the original music and it was in the graduation episode when Pacey says goodbye to Joey at the party.
As for Jen dying, it wasn't a one-off, it was the 6th Season finale (and the series finale) but they did release it on DVD as a one-off 2 hour special if you just wanted to have that episode. It was killer, really heartbreaking.

Aaaah, that's why I was thinking it was a special, I saw it in Best Buy as the 2hr special. Yeah, I've been watching the re-runs on TBS, on and off mind you, a lot of times I'm at work when it's showing - if I see that episode I'll let you know. I wouldn't be surprised if they used one or more RW songs, I can see how a lot of them would fit the episodes.
Did anyone here ever think Dawson's Dad was hot??? :) How could Gail cheat on him??? :o LOL

Yes, I definately do agree with Laura...it should be pretty cheap and it was an amazing episode...really powerful and heartbreaking! You should definately check it out :)

Her death is not sudden, she knows she is going to die...and she knows that Grams is old too, so she asks Jack to take care of her daughter :) It was so sweet...and Jack was dating Pacey's older brother Doug (who turned out to be gay afterall) and the two of them decided to raise her together.

I'm with you 100%, I LOVED the ending! I always thought Dawson and Joey were better as friends and I thought the whole friendship between Jack and Jen was beautiful and the way the whole death storyline was handled was really nice. Have you seen it on DVD? There is some extra footage including a scene where Andy comes to visit Jen which was kinda nice to see :)

Yep, the one who was with Pacey for all of Season 2 :) There were other deleted scenes too...more involving Joey and her boyfriend at the time (Jeremy Sisto I believe)...and a scene where she finds an engagement ring. Glad she didn't pick him!

I cried when Jen died, it was sooo sad! :'(

Dawson's creek was must watch tv when it was on. Watched the final episode with a friend and she cried her eyes out when jen died. :'( Jack and doug together was the funnist thing ever! Didn't see that coming, should have known that pacey tells the truth. Jack was always my favourite, though was it just me or did he become hotter when they made him gay? When he was going out with joey he wasn't that hot. Always knew that it would be pacey and joey.

how scary is that, read this topic, and thought to my self, yeah i loved Dawson's creek, then i had to read everyones replies as i couldn't remeber how it ended or the run up to it, it wasn't even that long ago, my memory must be a bit dodgy, but thanks to everyone who just updated me!!

The BEST teenage soap drama ever! I have all the DVD's.
The finale was excellent, tied everything up.
It was sooooo sad when Jen was making the video for her daughter to watch to remember her by!Tissues and lots of them were needed! :'(
Did anyone else talk with their friends as teenagers like the dawsons lot did?!?! ;D

dawsons creek was good altho the sounded like they had swallowed a dictionary at birth, does anyone actually speak like that? Plus they had too many emotional problems for such young teens. My fav line is when jen is dying and she makes a wish list for amy and she says ' i insist that you my girl are a dreamer' its makes me cry everytime!

I used to be soooo addicted to The Creek! I have every episode on video (taped off the TV)... the dvds that are out have different music on and I dunno if I can cope with that!

I must admit I love this programme! :) I used to watch it at Uni with my friends from halls.
I recently found the box set of the all the series on sale on Amazon for c. £50 - absolute bargin! So I treated myself to it.
I like all the series, but my favourite is Series 3, where Pacey and Joey date, but I do think that the final show was fab, although I did cry loads at the end. :bigcry: And I don't normally cry watching tv/films..

My fella looks similar to Dawson. That was the only reason I watched it. I still say Joey picked the wrong one. She should've picked Dawson. When the very last episode was on I was having the same love triangle problem only thing was I knew who I wanted.
I picked my Dawson!!!!!! lol

I have just started my collection of the DVD's from ebay but borrowed the season six boxset off my stepsister as I never got to see it when it was on the telly coz it changed channels and I couldn't watch it.
Although I knew everything that happened in the last episode nothing prepared me for what a fantastic couple of hours it would be. I cried for the most part of it, it was so beautifully done. I never really liked Jen all those years ago but really warmed to her this time around, and her relationship with Jack was lovely.
Am so glad that Joey and Pacey got together, it's the way it should have been! My crush on Joshua Jackson has suddenly come back - he's gorgeous, and I totally agree, he reminds a lot of Robbie!
