annoying adverts

is it just me or does anyone else think that new Frosties advert with that lad singing - badly i might add- 'they're gonna taste greeeeaat' over and over again is the most irritating thing like EVER?? everytime it comes on i have to mute the TV now!

I saw the Frosties advert the other day *shudder* wasn't too keen on it!

The one that's really annoying me at the moment is the Carcraft advert with the singing in it. it may only be showing in the North west though. "the best choice in used automobiles blah blah blah carcraft. It's on local radio too, you think it's a song then it launches into the full advert grr!

That's true actually Jan. I suppose they try and make them as annoying as possible so they stick in people's minds.

Then again, it puts me off buying the stuff they're selling sometimes. I just look at the product and cringe cuz of the ads! ;D

Oh I hate that Frosties advert! My friend is obsessed with it and keeps singing the song in my ear! Especially hate the bit where the boy is swinging on the treebranch and when he magically flies up into the air at the end...

yeah it puts me off too - i look at the box and just think of the ad and walk past to the crunchy nut cornflakes instead!!!


Know what you mean about Carol Vorderman - she seems to be advertising everything these days!! Oh and Diamond car insurance does my head in too!

I like the iron bru 32 advert with the big blue cukkoo in it - thats fab!!

I can't say I remember the frosties advert.... I will keep my eyes open for it. I have to agree with you about the carol vorderman ads they are incredibly annoying. The adverts that I really can't stand are the Jamster ringtone ads, they really drive me mad especially the crazy frog ones... they really really annoy the hell out of me. >:( ;)

i really hate the debt buster loan advert (well all loan adverts in gereral but especially this one!) where the man and woman are sat at the table having a blatantly fake conversation! *and the Picture loan advert with the woman videoing the annoying man talking to 'mike', i love it when he says 'how much do we wanna borrow? £25,000?' if i needed to get a loan that big i'd at least know how much i needed before ringing!!!

Yeah all those loan adverts are really annoying.

All those flippin' compensation adverts do my head in too. Especially that one where the woman is conducting an interrogation style interview with the head of the company...
"Will I receive 100% of the compensation?!"

Or those people telling their 'real life' stories which have blatantly been scripted...
*mocking* 'I chipped my nail polish at work, so I called the compensation team and they were really helpul. I recieved £3million pounds in compensation!'

lol, i know!!! they must think we are all morons! theres loads i really dislike and its true that it puts me off whatever it is, i find the dubbed ones funny too - where the words dont match the mouth movements like that Campino sweet thingy!

Just think in another few months there will hopefully be the TT advert for the album!

Adverts that bug me....where do I begin.

Firstly adverts aimed at children like cereal and McDonalds so cleverly placed in between childrens TV shows so the children want.

Secondly adverts in the day time that are all about 'need a car can't get credit' or 'remortage your home and be paying off well into your pension' or 'get a huge loan and save soooo much money you will be free to go on that holiday you always promised yourself' (like i would pay back a loan over years for a 2 week holiday no way). They assume that if you watch day time TV you are in debt or need money and it drives me MAD!!!

Phew got that off my chest now I feel so much better!

One advert that really is silly, is the home insurance with the two identical twin brothers who live next door to each other. The DAZ cleaner close adverts they are really annoying. But I do love the bounty fat rolls adverts with Brenda & Audrey, I think they are quite entertaining ;D

I hate debt advets..its like GOD, don't get into debt in the first place!

I hate the advert where the old lady comes on and tells you to sort out your will and funeral etc now...........GOD how morbid! lol :)
